IT Inventory Count Sheet
Physical inventory count sheet for annual or quarterly asset verification audits.
Purpose
This sheet is used during physical inventory counts to reconcile actual assets against the register.
Count Sheet Columns
- Asset Tag: From the physical tag
- Serial Number: From the device
- Make & Model: From the device
- Expected User: From the register
- Actual User: Person at the desk
- Location: Where found
- Condition: Working/Damaged/Missing
- Discrepancy: Yes/No
- Notes: Any observations
Count Process
- Print count sheet from asset register
- Visit each location with two people
- Scan or record each asset
- Note any discrepancies
- Update register with findings
- Investigate missing assets
