Why Computer Lab Maintenance Matters
When computer labs do not work, classes are disrupted, exams are delayed, and students lose learning time. Regular maintenance prevents these issues.
Weekly Maintenance
- Check all workstations power on and connect to network
- Verify internet connectivity and speed
- Check projector and display connections
- Run antivirus scan on all workstations
Monthly Maintenance
- Apply OS and software updates
- Clean keyboards, mice, and monitors
- Check cable connections and replace damaged cables
- Verify backup of teacher resources and student work
Student Policies
- No food or drinks near computers
- No USB drives without teacher approval
- Report issues immediately — do not try to fix hardware
- Log out before leaving
