Why Migrate Email?

Migration Steps

  • Plan: Choose new provider, set up accounts, schedule migration during off-hours
  • Export: Export all email, contacts, and calendar data from current provider
  • Import: Import data into new provider. Verify counts match.
  • Configure: Set up MX records, SPF, DKIM, DMARC for new provider
  • Test: Send test emails, verify delivery, check spam filters
  • Switch: Update DNS MX records. Wait for propagation (24-48 hours).
  • Verify: Confirm all email is flowing to new provider
